Editorial and correction policy
Every entry is based on sources that were read for this publication, and each source record shows the date it was checked. Where a narrower document exists, such as a specific case study, statute section or press release, it is cited instead of a general home page.
Sources are labelled by kind. Official sources are court records, legislation and pages published by government agencies. Firm sources are the firm's website and the profiles and pages the firm or its lawyers control or supply. Syndicated sources are press releases distributed for the firm. A source marked independent is published by an organization other than the firm, such as a legal newspaper, a verdict list or a lawyer-rating service. That label describes the source, not this publication.
Statements that originate with the firm are presented as the firm's statements. A press release counts as one firm-originated source however many outlets reprint it.
Case results are reported as the cited sources state them. Where sources give different figures or descriptions, the entry shows each version and its source rather than choosing one. Past results do not guarantee or predict a similar outcome.
This publication does not publish client reviews, star ratings or private client information, and it does not repeat credentials, awards or results that the cited sources do not support.
Corrections are reviewed when they are reported through the firm's published contact channels, which are listed on the firm's website. When an entry is revised, its revision date changes. The dates on each page record writing and source checks and do not indicate any legal review.
