Flanagan Law, P.C. was founded in 2015 by Brendan C. Flanagan, a lawyer licensed in Georgia since 2014. This entry traces the firm from its founder's early legal work through its 2026 press releases, using the firm's own accounts, lawyer directory records, a court opinion and news reports, and it notes where those sources tell the story differently.[1][2]

Results described on this page are summarized from the cited sources. Past results do not guarantee a similar outcome, and every matter depends on its own facts and law.

Before the firm

Flanagan studied political science at Florida State University and earned his law degree at Atlanta's John Marshall Law School. His Justia profile dates the law degree to 2013, and Super Lawyers records him as licensed in Georgia since 2014.[1][3][2]

The career fields of his claimed Justia profile list a law clerk position at Law & Moran from 2013 to 2014 and work as an associate attorney at Wood Craig Miller, LLC from 2014 to 2015, a firm the profile describes as a plaintiff's litigation boutique focused on wrongful death and catastrophic injury. His Avvo profile gives the same years and names the firms as Law & Moran, formerly Peter A. Law, PC, and Wood & Craig, LLC.[3][4]

The firm's brand profile says he trained at one of Atlanta's major plaintiff firms before founding his own. The brand profile and his Justia biography also say he held clerkships in the United States Senate and at the Fulton County Superior Court. This publication did not find a separate record of those clerkships.[5][3]

Founding in 2015

The firm gives 2015 as its founding year on its website, on its LinkedIn company page and in its press releases. Its about page says Flanagan started the firm with few resources and a laptop, intending to prepare each case properly from the start.[1][6][7]

The firm's team page adds that he first worked out of a rented mother-in-law suite in Morningside and that during the first two years he took almost any case that needed help, whatever its size.[8]

Attorneys and staff

Morgan E. Lyndall graduated from Mercer University's law school and was admitted to practice in 2018, according to Super Lawyers, and she came to the firm from an Atlanta defense firm. Collin Summerlin, a law graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, joined after working at a defense firm in the Southeast. The firm does not publish the year either one joined.[9][10][11]

The firm's staff includes litigation paralegals. Two of them, Angeles Gonzalez and Johnnathan Ruff, wrote an article on trial preparation for the Fall 2024 issue of Verdict, the magazine of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association.[12][13][10]

Recognition and cases, 2020 to 2025

Super Lawyers first selected Flanagan to its Georgia Rising Stars list for 2020 and has selected him for every year through 2027. Lyndall's selections run from 2021 through 2027.[2][9]

In 2023 the Daily Report covered House v. Seo, a Gwinnett County case in which a jury awarded the firm's client $200,000 and the insurer later settled for $300,000. Flanagan's directory profiles also list a 2023 presentation at the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association's annual convention.[14][3][4]

On October 31, 2024, the Court of Appeals of Georgia decided Edwards v. Higgins, a case the firm identifies as its own, and vacated a trial court's fee award under the offer of settlement statute. In March 2025 a Fulton County jury returned its verdict in Nguyen v. TIAG, which TopVerdict.com and VerdictSearch later listed among the largest verdicts of 2025. Two appeals from that verdict were docketed in September 2026 and were still pending in October 2026.[15][16][17][18][19][20][21]

Press releases in 2026

Between July 6 and October 6, 2026, the firm issued five press releases through Press Advantage: one on the Nguyen verdict, three on resolved crash cases and one on the eighth Rising Stars selection. The firm lists all five on its media page.[22][7][23]
