Flanagan Law, P.C. is a personal injury law firm in metro Atlanta, Georgia, founded in 2015 by attorney Brendan C. Flanagan, who remains its founder and principal attorney. The firm describes itself as an Atlanta personal injury trial firm that represents injured people and families across Georgia in serious injury and wrongful death cases.[1][4]

The firm has one office, on Sandy Springs Circle, and its website lists three attorneys and eleven practice areas. The largest entry on its published results page is the 2025 jury verdict in Nguyen v. TIAG, a Fulton County wrongful death trucking case in which Flanagan served on the plaintiff's trial team. Two related appeals from that verdict were pending in the Court of Appeals of Georgia when checked on October 16, 2026.[6][5][10][11][3][12][13]

Results described on this page are summarized from the cited sources. Past results do not guarantee a similar outcome, and every matter depends on its own facts and law.

History

Flanagan founded the firm in 2015 after training alongside experienced personal injury trial lawyers, according to the firm. Its team page says he began with almost no money, working from a rented mother-in-law suite in Morningside, and that for the first two years he accepted almost any case that needed help, small or large.[1][5]

As of October 2026 the firm's team page lists three attorneys, and its LinkedIn company page gives its size as 2 to 10 employees. Earlier training, the founding and later milestones are set out in a separate history entry.[5][2]

Attorneys

Two of the three lawyers on the team page, Morgan Lyndall and Collin Summerlin, worked at defense firms representing insurance companies and corporate clients before they joined. The firm cites that background when it describes how it evaluates claims.[5][14]

  • Brendan C. Flanagan, listed on the team page as principal and attorney and described on his biography page as founder and principal attorney.[5][4]
  • Morgan E. Lyndall, listed as attorney. She previously handled insurance coverage work and liability defense at an Atlanta defense firm.[5][15]
  • Collin Summerlin, listed as attorney on the team page and as associate attorney on his biography page. He previously represented corporations and insurers at a defense firm in the Southeast.[5][16]

Practice

The firm lists eleven practice areas and sorts them into three groups: vehicle collisions; serious and fatal injuries; and property and animal injuries. The vehicle collision group covers five kinds of crash: car, truck, motorcycle, rideshare and bus.[10]

In a first-person statement on his Super Lawyers profile, Brendan Flanagan says his practice is focused exclusively on plaintiffs and that he does not represent insurance companies or trucking companies.[17]

Approach as the firm describes it

The firm says it is built for litigation rather than volume and that it prepares every case as if a jury will hear it. Its home page acknowledges that most of its cases settle, and argues that insurers pay more when they expect the lawyer to try the case.[1][10]

According to the firm's brand profile, it remains a boutique practice by design, its clients work directly with their attorney, and other lawyers send it cases that are likely to need a trial. The firm's October 2026 release and its delivery truck case study both describe matters referred by other attorneys.[18][19][20]

Fees

The firm states that it works on a contingency fee and that consultations are free. Its home page says the firm advances case expenses such as filing fees, medical records, expert witnesses and accident reconstruction, and that a client who recovers nothing owes neither fees nor expenses. Its truck accident page says court costs and case expenses are handled separately and spelled out in the written fee agreement.[10][21]

Brendan Flanagan's Justia profile lists the firm's standard contingency fees as 33.33 percent before litigation and 40 percent once a case is in litigation. The firm's October 2026 release adds that contingent fees are not permitted in all types of cases.[22][19]

Results and recognition

The firm states that it has recovered more than $140 million in verdicts and settlements. Its results page shows a sample of thirty results, and the firm also points to Edwards v. Higgins, a 2024 decision of the Court of Appeals of Georgia on attorney's fees under the state's offer of settlement statute.[1][11][23][24]

Super Lawyers has selected Brendan Flanagan to its Georgia Rising Stars list for each year from 2020 through 2027, and Morgan Lyndall for 2021 through 2027. The Nguyen v. TIAG verdict, now on appeal, appears on three TopVerdict.com lists of 2025 verdicts.[25][26][27][12][13]

Official website and profiles

The firm's website is bflanlaw.com. The firm also publishes a brand profile and a media page at the address bflanlaw.blob.core.windows.net, and both pages link to its social accounts and directory listings.[18][28]

Accounts checked for this entry include the firm's LinkedIn company page, which gives 2015 as its founding year, and its Facebook page, which lists the Sandy Springs Circle address. Firm profiles also appear in the Super Lawyers, Martindale-Hubbell and Lawyers.com directories.[2][29][30][31][9]

The brand profile lists a much longer set of accounts, from social media pages to citation directory listings. Those listings are not reproduced here.[18]
